Cool video, songs not so great. If you want to hear a SONG that is just as good as the "new age, gruesome reality" video that goes with it, watch this one....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaR59TAV_AU - Songs from 1987, I don't know when this video was made.

Thats a sweet video Jackal. We can agree to disagree on the Linkin Park one, but we both agree the Pink Floyd one is awezome. Very Happy

I love the theme for their album but I don't care for the singer.I prefer S.O.D.

Ugh....I deserve to respond after all the stuff I posted. I bought Minutes to Midnight...it was "blah." My least favorite album by far. I'll spare you a long winded post about my disappointment

Anywho, hows the NIN album? It came out April 17 (correct?) but I havent heard anyone say anything about it.

Edit: Haha, I love Minutes to Midnight now!

John Frusciante <=== Best Guitarist Ever

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Goldfinger
Ted Leo & the Pharmacists
The Dandy Warhols
Thrice
Nickelback (a couple songs)
Fuel

Lots of other stuff. As long as it's not country or rap, i'm ok with it.

I'll ignore the Frusciante comment. These are a couple of my more favorite bands. I am a musician with very...vast tastes in music.

Metal: OPETH, Mastodon, Lamb of God, Behemoth, Necrophagist

Grunge: ALICE IN CHAINS, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP, Nirvana

Progressive/Hard Rock: MARS VOLTA, TOOL, King Crimson, Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, A Perfect Circle, Rush, Porcupine Tree, Primus, Rage Against the Machine

Jam/Semi-Improv: UMPHREY'S McGEE, Phish, Allman Brothers, Disco Biscuits, STS9, The Breakfast, Soulive

Clas.Rock: PINK FLOYD, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Neil
Young, Talking Heads

Jazz: Weather Report, MMW, Front Page, FRANK ZAPPA(he played everything), John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Thel. Monk, Charlie Parker, Jeff Berlin, Charlie Hunter, Bela Fleck, Pat Metheny Group, Chick Corea

Funk/Soul: Stevie Wonder, George Clinton, James Brown

Trance: Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, some Armin Van Buuren

So yeah. If anyone likes any of those bands, I have multiple albums of all of them on my FTP media server. I would be willing to give any of you a copy of the client program and a login.
