Nice list Euro , the only thing I am boycotting right now is creative , they are suing a guy for writing drivers for his sound card so it could work with Vista and sharing them on the net . I think it's BS for them to do that. I have a Audigy 2 card which has worked fine. But I will look for a different card next time I buy. Maybe Turtle beach , don't know much about them. Any body have one?
I have one BIG issue with your list. Rather than recommending hardware, your recommending manufacturers which reads like an ad rather than a helpful list of parts. If you're looking to help folks choose hardware, ya need to toss some model numbers on there. For example:
CPU: Intel E8400
Video: eVga 8800GT
otherwise you're just plugging brand names which in my view mean little in PC parts if ya don't know what to buy.
your silly geek - im just pointing out that some companys are better than others - and yes it does and should sound like an ad cause if id specified exact model numbers no one would like euro recommended hardware list cause it wouldnt be in anyone on the teams price range -

and jackal im simply pointing out facts - im not recommending this hardware cause i own and use it everyday - im recommending it cause its benchmarked and proving to be better than the competition
