OK, so in my room, the door obviously was an afterthought, if not the whole room. Everyone else's door is nice and thick and one piece. Me? I get this shitty door with this insert in the center that's thin as shit. See pic below.

So I got tired of the bullshit of hearing everything out in the hall and decided to try to do something. So I look up where the nearest home improvement store is and find me some foam. Probably not the best foam, but foam has a lot of air in it and that absorbs sound waves right? So I pick up two of these pieces of foam for 3€ total. I get home and I spend about an hour cutting the foam with my table knife and duct taping it to the door.

i just though i had to share this with you guys because it's really totally funny and i'm wasn't even drunk when i did it.
to top it off, i even made a double use of my duct tape and cleaned up all the little bullshit styrofoam thingys with the sticky side of the duct tape. Genius!
i'll let you guys know if it actually worked. if not, it's only 3€ down the drain.

Just Be glad there isn't any thieves around , that paper thin door wouldn't stop anyone. But nice work my wife would be proud she is the duct tape Queen.
