Some of you are pry sittin there thinkin jeez thats alot of fans, well my computer had/has over heating problems. And the 939 processors run hot. So.....i kinda went alittle overboard and my computer now doubles as a refrigerator/airconditioner.
Good stuff, but the 939s are not known to run hot. I've run several in my main rig and my wife's system is still running one. The 3500 I had idled around 35c and under heavy load, I don't think it ever got over 50c. My Core2 only runs about 5 degrees cooler. That was with stock cooling too. With that monster cooler you've got, you should be able to match or exceed my numbers. One advantage I may have is my case is very large. Do you have a full tower or a mid? What temps is your processor running at?
i have a mid. and as for the temp it used to run 60 cels. its now down in the range of 18-25, when its idle 18 the highest its been when im doing things is 25. I really would like to upgrade to a dual core but my mobo doesnt support it and for me to get a new one would cause me to need
a. new mobo
b. new ram
c. new video card
my amd 3200 ran soo cool it wasn't even funny. One day in the winter i booted up my computer and it was at 14 degrees , highest i ever saw it under load was like 38 in the heat of summer. Anyways good setup!
