My name is BuLwinkL, I'm one of the Co-founders of the 507th PIR, a Dod: Source Guild (507th.org). We've got about 110 active members, from the US, Canada and Europe. As one of the leaders of the group we like to use "Topsites" to help advertise. Unfortunately we've had some issues with these sites, either they are not DOD specific, they get spammed, or they tend to go down too often. As a way of giving back to the DOD community, we've decided to sponsor and run www.topdod.com. It's running the latest software, and we'll do our best to keep it active. I've just opened the site, and we're looking for the best groups to join. That's why I've come here! This site will offer a lot, it will be a central location to get info on Day of Defeat sites, like Clans, Guilds, Mapping, Downloads, Tutorials, Skins, Crosshairs, HUD's and a lots more. To the individual sites it offers: *** Completely FREE advertising for your site!! Even if you choose not to use the little ranking box on your site, you can sign up, and get people to know about your group! *** Get ranked!!! I notice that most of the DoD specific top sites are down quite frequently and are not managed very well. However, the site you linked is very slow to respond and timed out two times before I could see it. We did have a few hours of really slow speed, but a phone call to our host seems to have fixed it.
