holy shit those are nice. and since they're German you know you're getting good sound quality.

however, the entire thing looks EXACTLY like the Barracudas except for the mic, which I like much more on the Razer. depending on the price i'd consider those.

if any of you are still in the headset market, i would recommend these for a cheapie pair

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826265009

i didn't have money for the medusa's or what not... so i picked up these. not the most comfortable as the cups are a little small for my ears, but it's not that bad.

yeah, $120 is a bit too much. but, 2nd pair of true 5.1 surround sound headphones i've ever seen.

i wonder how much the surround sound helps anyway.... i remember back when EAX was the norm, and that seems to mix sounds pretty well just for stereo... but i've never used 5.1 headphones (my 5.1 speakers haven't really been working right lately either....). are they worth it?

I got a headset at Staples for like 30ish and I love it. Sound quality is much better then my old USB and now I get to use my sound card, which was like $100+ when I got it like 2 years ago. A big bonus: LOTS of padding. Very Happy

they are god. it's like being able to hear where everyone is on the map. plus, it's easier to wall people.
