i hate bestbuy they have the most incompatant workers EVER!!!!!!! They told me to ask geek squad i was thinking what the fuck your right here why cant you tell me he said i dont know anything about computers so i asked then why do you work here your no use. so i waited in line for like 2 hours and then the guy couldnt even give me my answer fuck the store next time ill ask 1 of you guys cause you guys probly know more about computers than them.
Take it easy champ , most of those guys won't be there say in a couple of months. Everyone is new at some point , maybe when they was hired they was told that they would be a cashier or something and someone quit. Then they are put in that position because of necessity other than experience. I guarantee at some point you will be put in that position and like the guy you are talking about you won't know the answers .
Plus stores like that don't give their employees any decent training to help them out.
Exactly , now days turn over is high because expectations are to much for what they get at starting rate of pay. And the training is usually done by someone with little experience or training themselves. It's the high cost of retailers trying to keep cost down so it filters to the consumer. So when in line bitching about the long lines or bad customer service keep in mine that the price you are getting could be higher if they had that extra cashier or 2. IT's give or take.

Exactly. If you go to a store where people are getting paid next to minimum wage and you expect good service and low prices, you're dreaming.
True , but there are certain things I will still pay retail for..like Monitors and TV's because if say a pixel is dead or something wrong in general with the screen , I don't want to pay shipping to send it back to whom ever. But I am lucky though I do have a Fry's within about 30 minutes driving from me.

yeah, same here. didn't know there was a fry's in the midwest. granted all the way to indianapolis to just go to a fry's would cost more in the gas than anything. but if i'm ever going somewhere out that way.....
it's actually funny because we were just talking about fry's at lunch the other day... in germany. pretty funny.

if i worked there i wouldnt help you unless you came up to me and were extremely nice - if you gave me a semi shitty attitude or a im better than you attitude or a you work here now help me attitude youd be spit on when you turned around - as you can see i wouldnt last long working at bestbuy - probabaly their would be an incident in the first few hours considering how people are - just check your states laws before you blast someone in the face with a lunger - some states its considered assault to spit on someone and youll be going downtown
I work for Best Buy.........I'm not dumb. They are a great company and truly try to take care of you the best they can. I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure he was put in a bad spot.
I can't speak for all Best Buy employees, but about 95% of the ones I've ever dealt with are pretty clueless if you ask them a question that isn't found somewhere on the box that the product comes in.
I remember once before I really got into computers, one of them actually started reading the PSU box when I went there to replace my blown dell one. Long story short, 20 mins later he told me to buy it and the next day I returned it because it didn't fit....
