Newegg has THIS card on sale for a terrific price and it comes with the Valve Black Box. The card will run you $135 shipped and there's a $10 rebate as well. You will not find a better video deal right now. While my card is a different brand, I am running the same GPU right now and average >100 FPS in ALL Valve games.
Just a side note as well, this card is fully DX10.1 capable. NVidia has yet to release a card that can run 10.1 let alone in this performance/price segment.
For that price I would be willing to try it , even though I still haven't had a ATI card yet I liked. But after saying that I've read good reviews on hd3800 series cards. I know I won't upgrade to the new geforce 9800 not worth only a few frames more , I think they need to rethink before releasing more cards based off of the 8800 series architecture.
