i quit smoking on sunday and boy does it feel weird. the last 4 days have been hell. today i'm having the shakes because my body is purging all the shit out of my system that i put in for the last 18 years. yup, i started smoking when i was 16. so anyways, my sense of smell is getting better and i can smell what other smokers smell like now, and its like WOW, i smelled like that. anyways, with the current costs of cigarettes, and me getting older i figured it was time to stop now before i come down with any medical conditions. also, i started ice skating again in hopes to play ice hockey in a mens league for this coming fall. it just a fun league, but it will be good exercise. anyways, day 5 will be tomorrow, so far so good. sorry if i'm not on a lot over the next couple of weeks. i get real ansy and need to be doing something in order to fight off the cravings. i guess by week 2, i should start feeling a little better.
Ive only been on nicotine for about two years (switching between smoking and chewing and so on) but I bet it's even harder for you to quit. Stay strong we believe in you!
