Hey guys,
Me and Mike, Knifely, have been talking about starting a business for a couple years. We’ve been working our current one for a couple months now. We have a business plan, website about to be launches, lawyers, advertisements, etc. all set. We are going to be discussion options with investors in the next couple months.
To be honest, the thing that took the longest was to come up with a name. As you know, a name needs to be catchy, flashy, and needs to have something to do with your business. Basically, your business is your name. The best one we could come up with is, “T3 Gaming Lounge.” So yes, we are opening a LAN Center. We will offer competitive gaming and regular online gaming. Gaming consoles hooked up to LCD TVs. Pool Tables. A huge LCD for sport games and special promotions. A study lounge for college students where you'll be able to buy foods, snacks, and beverages.
We have already received sponsors through several companies, a few investors, too. We know our location, but are looking for the "perfect" place.
So our questions to you are if we could use the logo. We will set up servers named the “T3 Gaming Lounge.” We will set servers up for all different games from DODS, C-S to BF2.
We do also want to know what you guys would want in a LAN Center. We are serious about, no stupid shit.
Every gamer is different, so it would be good to know.
Yea guys this is for real. We want to combine the world of competitive gaming with a relaxing social gathering place. The town we live in, or robin used to live in, has a huge market gap for something like this. We live in a college town, home of CSU, but there is a limited amount of places to go and just chill and play pool, watch the game, and well play games.
So I already made a site, were not posting anything yet, but I can show you individually per request. Also, the logo, the unofficial t3 logo is sick, I did some editing to it and we'd like to use it. Of course T3 would get something in return, we are offering to sponsor T3 with servers. And who knows, maybe we'll all have a giant LAN party once!
So yea here is what the logo looks like, and Ill post a screenshot of the site as it looks right now:

i think its cool i mean if you guys want to use the name i dont see any problem with it.. just make sure you have a link or something to the actual website and if you really want kids to come and play stuff there.. i always see ppl playing wow a lot at lan centers. so thats a must have.. wish ya the best of luck with all this
Very awesome guys, the site is friggin' sick looking too, along with the modified graphic.
The only question I have is that if I were to visit this gaming lounge could I play for free?
Mike made the site. It looks amazing.
If you were to visit it, you'd get to play for free. We were thinking about some time hosting a T3 LAN party there.

We'd link it. I'll probably have one of my videos on the Youtube page. If you have any videos that you'd like to add to our list , talk to Knifely.
Of course we would have WoW. It's one of the biggest games in the world. We'd have to speak to all different gaming companies before we'd design the OS that these computers would run.
Well thanks for all the kind words guys, if you wanna take a closer look at the site you can download it here:
T3 Gaming Lounge
Just unzip, and open the index.
And yea, we'd link back here, but If there was anyway to put a link to our on this site, so that google spiders could find us faster would be great also.
We've kind of hit a stand still until I'm back in the states so I can get all the legal stuff out of the way, but right now I'm just writing up the business plan and getting all that out of the way.

Umm. I don't know if I would use that logo on a "for profit" website or business. I don't personally know the original artist but I know he owns a business where he does graphics for companies. He made a logo for us for free because he was good friends with one of our old members. You don't want to start making money and get a call from a copy-righter asking for royalties.

Other than that, looks sweet.
Could you please find out what company he was working for?
and there is software you run on your systems that controls everything, its in addition to windows, but the computer will boot straight into thhe program and everything else is basically restricted...
