Yesterday I changed my email in steam and now I cannot sign in. I have tried to regain my password but my answers to my stupid secret question seem to be invalid. Its really pissing me off because I never changed my password and why it wont work now is a freaking mystery to me.
I'm probably going to have to get a new account. This is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its no big deal, I only have css and DoD, but this is freaking screwed up. Steam feels like being an ass to me....
No matter what I put it will not let me change my password, and it says my real password is invalid.
just contact steam and beg like a little girl. that's what i did when my steam account was hijacked. i had to start scanning credit card receipts to show that i had actually bought the account. anyway, the guy over at steam finally reset my password and let me get back on.
I think in his case they should have a dam phone # that you can call after feeble attempts to get the problem solved . I hate this mickey mouse bullshit of having to use email all the fucking time . Then if you do get a # you fucking going threw hoops to get a god dam real person. THen and only then is a fucking towel head from who knows were, can't speak fucking english for shit . And your back to square one , nothing solved. ahhhhhh
it just pisses me off and I'm not the one with the problem. GOOD LUCK BEMO!!!!!!!!!!!
lol feedback. i don't think that they have any foreign tech support people over at Steam. However, you're right, it'd be nice to have a phone number to call.
I was talking to one of my friends and he confirmed it had to have been a hijacked account. Does anyone know what email I use to email steam with my complaints?
Here is something to try , I don't know how much knowledge of computers you have , but try this , go in and manually change your IP address of your computer. It sounds dumb but trust me , I had the same problem , couldn't figure out why I couldn't log in . So I said what the hell I changed my IP
and it did the trick .
yeah, that's a good idea. just reset your DNS and all that shit, renew it, and maybe you'll have better luck. you didn't give out ur password or anything, right?
You know, most of the hacks out there to be downloaded for CSS and DODS have account stealers in them. That's what ya get for tryin' to hack you freakin tool!
